Internships

Unitas offers a limited number of internship placements to highly motivated, focused and passionate individuals eager to get an insight into working in the charity and social enterprise sector. Our small team means that any intern will have the opportunity to gain experience at all levels of our organisation. Typically, responsibilities would include:

  • writing press releases
  • researching and presenting policy digests
  • writing summaries for research reports
  • maintaining the Unitas website, updating online news and sending out newsletters
  • liaising with project managers in locations throughout the UK to ensure successful delivery of Unitas projects
  • attending weekly meetings along with our senior consultants and assisting them in managing and coordinating projects.

Interns will be expected to develop and show an understanding of issues related to education, the arts and youth justice, and to contribute to the development of exciting new programmes. There is a lot of scope for an intern to direct the role according to their specific skills and interests.

Both the start date and the length of the internship are negotiable.
